Twitchstar Post: Twitchstar blinked gently with a yawn, turning on his back pushing out his legs to strech them out. He licked his lips standing, and grunting gently, pushing his back legs out, hearing a cracking in his back legs with a smile, as he gently padded out from his warm den. The cool crisp breeze hit his face after leaving his den, making him turn his head for the moment, also feeling the coldness down to his tail-tip. He looked up to see the sun peek from the morning clouds, not late enough into the day to make it warm yet, but looking to be a great day.
Twitchstar padded outside of his den peeking around the camp, looking out to the flowing river. As the sounds of it blew past slowly, as the river was slow, and not too loud on this amazing day so far. Twitchstar looked down at his left front paw to feel, and see the movement of his paw with a sigh, almost brought back bad memory's. Placing it firmly on the ground, he turned to look at the fresh-kill pile. Low, and needing stock. What joy's would this day bring?

Nightsong opened her large green eyes, blinking a few times as she stayed on the ground of her den. Just when had she fallen asleep? She paused for a few seconds, trying to remember as she listened to whatever was around her; birds chirping outside, other cats talking outside the dens, and even her own breathing. Her chest rose and fell with every breath, her tail twitching slightly. Deciding that she wasn't going to remember any time soon, the Medicine Cat decided to stand up and take a step outside.
The calico looked around camp, able to see her Clanmates either getting ready to go hunting or talking about the how nice the weather was. A chilly breeze swept by, but didn't affect her much, her thick coat of fur keeping her plenty warm. She usually didn't get cold until Leaf Bare came, when more than just the wind tried to chill the cats to their bones. She let out a soft sigh as she looked back in her den, inspecting the herb supply and checking everything. Hm... She was running low on Juniper, Goldenrod, Feverfew, Wormwood, and Poppy.
Turning and padding over to the Fresh Kill pile, the she-cat decided that she would eat something and then venture out to find some more herbs. She didn't have an apprentice yet, so there wasn't really anyone for her to send out instead. She didn't like the idea of leaving the camp, since she would be needed if anyone was injured, but it was better to go out now when everything seemed calm instead of later and run the risk of leaving when her Clanmates needing her to stay.
The calico sat down, grabbing a mouse and nibbling on it. Nightsong didn't want to take too much, especially since the fresh kill pile looked like it needed restocking as well. The mouse seemed like the smallest thing there. She looked up, seeing the leader Twitchstar nearby, and smiled softly. Maybe he would like to come with her to get herbs; two cats collecting herbs were better than one, and it would go much faster. The faster it went, the sooner she could be back home, and the sooner she was back home, the sooner she could stop worrying.
"G-good morning, Twitchstar," she stuttered, slightly nervous about talking to her Leader. She was just recently made Medicine Cat, so she had little experience and didn't want to look as though she wasn't going to be any good. The she-cat walked over to the silver tom, sitting down next to him and hunching over just slightly, a habit of her being timid.
"I w-was going to go s-searching for more herbs... I'm r-running a bit low..." she explained, smiling shyly as she looked up at the other cat with her lovely green eyes. They were her most noticeable and memorable feature, and as an apprentice it was her only redeeming one. She wasn't as pretty as her sister Dawnpaw had been in other ways (pelt, shape, or general appearance), but everyone seemed to agree that Nightsong had the prettier eyes. She continued, "...I was wondering if maybe... Y-you'd mind helping me...?"

Swiftfeather heard the early morning stirring of her clan mates. So she decided to get up herself, plus she could start a hunting patrol and organize a border patrol. The she cat pulled herself up into a sitting position and ran her pink tongue over her white pelt and her ginger tail. She took pride in keeping her pelt clean and because she was a RiverClan cat her pelt was always shiny and healthy and very soft.
After she was done grooming herself she stood and shook out her pelt to fluff it up against the cold morning. Then the made her way out of the warriors den into the pleasant morning. Her round yellow eyes scanned the camp to see who was awake. Her eyes noticed a few warriors, but they seemed to be just waking themselves so she decided to wait just a bit before setting up patrols. Then her eyes caught the pitifully low fresh-kill pile. She made a mental note to bring out a few extra warriors on her hunting patrol so that the pile would be full.
Then she was Twitchstar and next to him was Nightsong the medicine cat. She trotted up to the two cats then dipped her head respectfully at her leader and medicine cat. "Good morning Twitchstar. Good morning Nightsong." Then she moved away from the cats to go get herself some breakfast. She picked up a small watter vole and laid down to enjoy the meal. She ate quickly then buried the scraps before calling over a few warriors. She sent them out on a border patrol then called over a few more cats for a hunting patrol. She then made her way back over to her leader and medicine cat while the other warriors waited at the entrance to the camp. "Twitchstar we are going out on a hunting patrol. And I sent out a border patrol. Is their anything else you need done before I go hunting?" She turned her gaze on Nightsong, "What about you Nightsong. Would you like us to gather cobwebs or something while we are out."

Twitchstar
Post: Twitchstar watched as the calico cat, ate her mouse, with a grin, as she walked over to him. He gazed into her eyes as she spoke in a nervous, and worried tone. " Sure, I would love to help you." He smiled gently looking into her green eyes. " Why..." He asked. " Why are you stuttering? Is there something wrong with your tongue?" He purred, sitting, and wrapping his tail around his body.
Twitchstar turned his head to look at his deputy Swiftfeather. Watching her walk up to them, as she dipped her head in respect. " Good morning Swiftfeather." He purred, as he watched to grab something to eat. Seeing the gathered warriors. " I think that's it Swiftfeather. Thank you for asking." He turned back to Nightsong for her answer.

"Sure, I would love to help you."
"T-that's great... Thank you...." Nightsong meowed back, bowing her head graciously. She blinked a few times as she was asked about her stutter, and blushed under her light fur. She could never... really... explain why she stuttered. Whenever she got nervous her voice seemed to stop working properly. Her ears flattened against the top of her head as she tried to think of an explanation.
"W-well... W-when I get n-nervous... I-I s-stutter..." she answered, getting more nervous as she explained. The calico was slightly relieved to hear someone else approaching; that way, someone else could start up a conversation, and direct attention away from any mistake she made. She was a bit more confortable with group conversations, mostly because she could slink away if things turned toward the worse. The she-cat shook her head as she tried to keep herself from drifting off completely to her inner thoughts, knowing that she would get weird looks if she stood there staring off into nothing.
Nightsong watched as Swiftfeather approached, getting something to eat out of the fresh kill pile. The other she-cat reminded her of her sister at times, since her sister had been a lighter calico with more ginger and less black on her pelt. She smiled back shyly as she was greeted, nodding her head in acknowledgement. She listened quietly as the deputy listed what she had done, asking Twitchstar if there was anything else she needed to add onto that list. Swiftfeather was a good deputy, or at least the calico thought she was; she always seemed to put her work before everything else, even her own worry, which was something the timid Medicine Cat envied.
"What about you Nightsong. Would you like us to gather cobwebs or something while we are out."
"Hm...? O-oh! If it's n-not too much trouble, than yes... Please..." the Medicine Cat replied shyly. It was nice of the warriors and apprentices to bring her cobwebs when they came across any, and she found that being in the position she was in was not quite as lonesome as she thought. Her Clanmates would always be there for her, and she seemed to have lots more support than she truly expected. She bowed her head again, this time to Swiftfeather, "...Thank you very much..."

Twitchstar
Post: Twitchstar nodded at both of them with a greatness purr rasping from his morning voice. Looking back over to the medicine cat, then over at the entracnce to the camp. " Shall we get going?" He asked with a smile over at Nightsong. Twitchstar began to pad over to the entrance looking back over at his deputy. " What about you, is your day full with the daily tasks?" He wondered.
