Our story begins in a land far away from the lands we call home now. The East Lands, a pride land under the reign of a tyrannical king, were in turmoil. Under the constant beatings from their king, the pridesisters and the more gentle males made a decision to leave and, in the cover of night, were led away by their noble and courageous queen, Kisara.
The group, after weeks of traveling, came upon the Pridelands. Although the lands were plagued by hyena, the lions knew they had found a new home; a place to raise their cubs in a lush environment free of the struggle they had witnessed from their old king. Kisara knew she needed to raise her son, Mohatu, to be brave and wise, and kind. The Pridelands were the place to do so. The current generation follows Mohatu's cubhood and his growth, on the path to becoming a great king.
This Land is Ours is a play by post Lion King RPG. It is set way before the movie takes place in a time when Mufasa's grandfather is only a cub himself. There are plenty of characters available for adoption. The site will continue on through Ahadi and Uru's life and into the future generations of Kovu and Kiara's lifetime. [/center]
