REGISTERING
✖ Once registered, make sure to log into your accounts every day. Even if it isn't to post!
✖ Make sure that your usernames and display names are appropriate.
✖ If you are going to be inactive, please let us know. Especially if you play a high position that you know will be needed.
✖ One account per member.
✖ Signatures and graphics used for posting cannot be any wider than 500px in width. Any wider and they stretch the forum. Avatars can be a maximum of 400 high and 200 wide.
BEHAVIOUR
✖ All members are expected to follow each one of the rules. Ignoring or simply not reading the rules will only land you in trouble.
✖ We Are The Wild Ones is a PG-13 forum. While swearing in allowed, keep it to a minimum. It will be obvious if you overuse swear words in a post. Remember, this is a privilege, not a right. The rule on allowing swearing can be removed just as easily as it can be left alone. This rule also means that no disturbing content such as porn is allowed.
✖ Be kind to all members. Nobody gets along with everyone; this has never been, and it never will. However, it is expected that you tolerate someone you don't like. Any sort of bullying made toward someone because of their gender, race, sexuality, beliefs, etc will result in a permanent ban. We don't have time for people like that here.
✖ No fighting. This includes debating on topics such as religion or politics. While these things are allowed, we don't allow people to fight over them.
✖ Do not ask if you can become staff. Either an admin will ask you if you would like the position, or auditions will be held to search for new staff.
✖ No mini-modding! If you see a rule-break, report it.
✖ No spamming or advertising outside of the advertising board. These posts will be removed immediately. Spamming to get freshkill will result in ALL of your freshkill removed.
ROLE-PLAYING
✖ We are a literate role-playing forum, so we do have a requirement of proper grammar. If you feel like you are lacking in this department, just PM one of the staff and we'll help you with your role-playing!
✖ There is no word count, but we ask that you try to get to at least 100+ words. Keep in mind that this is not a requirement, but a suggestion. If you try your best, but can't get to that goal, that's perfectly okay!
✖ No power-playing/god-modding/meta-gaming. Power-playing is only allowed when the other player gives permission for their character to be power-played. If you don't know what these are, there is a guide.
✖ Please wait until your bio has been looked at by a staff member, and approved, before you start to role-play. Any posts or threads made with unapproved characters will be removed.
✖ All role-play tenses are allowed (first person, third person, past tense, present tense, etc). However, keep a thread a single tense at a time. Example: don't have a thread that has both first person and third person role-playing going on.
✖ You are not limited to a number of characters, but please play as many as you can handle. It's better to play a few well developed characters than a dozen that are rarely played and not very developed. High positions are limited at two per member. Canon characters from the books are not allowed!
✖ All characters must be realistic, and must be domestic cats unless you have purchased a different species from the shop.
